Polarized Range
A polarized range contains primarily very strong value hands and bluffs, with few or no medium-strength hands. This is in contrast to a merged or depolarized range, which includes hands across the full strength spectrum. Polarized ranges are optimal when you can use large bet sizes, as they force opponents into difficult decisions with their medium-strength catching hands.
Example
On the river, you either have the nuts or a complete miss, betting big with both — your range is polarized.
